Jessi, you’ve been my best friend across the states/ pen pal for over 2 years now. You are so beautiful in every sense of the word, I remember the first time I liked that post you made about your fading red hair (maybe it was brown/black at that point… ill have to check my posts) and i was like WHAT A BABE. I still have that message saved that I sent you to let you know how truly rad you were and i recall a few messages later i got the courage to ask you to be my penpal. god those were the days, right? well, not really. you were still searching for a job and i was in michigan on vacation. God it was so long ago. the first letter i received from you was so cute and quirky and i was just gushing! someone, i realized, some twenty something year old wanted to talk to a 17 year old like me. all i could do was brag to my friends, that were all confident that you were a pervy pedo. they were wrong about the second part, but they were right when they said pervy they were just wrong when it came to the exact person you were pervy for *cough cough* BRUCE. hahaha. i was enamored with you and honestly so lucky to have someone like you in my life. every moment we gushed over boys we were interested in aka every boy we had stared down from a far….every thing that we liked and didn’t like….all the great moments and sad disappointments in our lives we shared in online messages, texts, and the occasional call/skype session. the packages, oh the packages! they were so wonderful, so fun, so tear-jerking!! oh god jessi i love you so much, you have been my best friend, my confidant, and THE greatest person i know. your life has just begun, your love will blossom, and the dreams that you have told me and I have heavily encouraged will come true.
